Greenbriar Farm sprung from a vision. A vision born in a small, over-populated suburb. After feeling trapped in a crowded and loud environment, we started searching for a better way to live and spend our time.   A year later we found ourselves transplanted on a two-acre micro-farm we named Greenbriar Farm.   In 2022, we inherited our beloved Irish Dexter's.  We quickly sprung into action looking for a larger parcel of land that could accommodate the herd.  We found our present site, a 24-acre parcel, nestled in the heart of Charlestown, Indiana.

After getting the first corrals built and a place to shelter the cattle, we set our sites on building a home.  Up to that time, we travelled nearly 50 miles a day to attend the cattle.  After a year, our home was finished and we moved on site.  Since then, we've increased our pastures, built a tool shed and office; a home, added a chicken coop and three Great Pyrenees dogs named Bernadette, Chloe, and Buddy!  CeCe is our house dog!  Our little homestead continues to grow! Please join us often and watch our progress.  Mya will be adding a store where our local community can purchase quality Irish Dexter Meat (all natural beef-grass-fed); Organic eggs; fruit and vegetables (to come); hand-crafted silver Jewelry and local artesian products; and much more.  These are our goals-to efficiently provide quality beef, milk, eggs, cheese, local artesian products, and possible health food products to our neighbors and community.
