Greenbriar Farm & Mercantile
Simple. Farm. Life.
Greenbriar Farm sprung from a vision. A vision born in a small, over-populated suburb. After feeling trapped in a crowded and loud environment, we started searching for a better way to live and spend our time. A year later we found ourselves transplanted on a two-acre micro-farm we named Greenbriar Farm. This year, we purchased 24 acres of gorgeous Indiana farmland which will be the home of the Irish Dexter Cows we inherited from our parents, Jack and Mary Goodman. We welcome friends and visitors of this page to become an integral part of our family farm; as we relocate a renowned and special herd of cattle from our family ranch in Idaho to their new home in Indiana; watch and participate in the nurturing and building of a small homestead and natural mercantile from the ground up! Future plans include: a vineyard, orchard, vegetable garden, sheep, pigs, chickens, bees; a house, barn, park, and of course the propagation of a legacy herd of Irish Dexter Cattle.
